Human AugmentatioN via Dexterity

Revolutionizing Robot Dexterity and Empowering Human Work

HAND’s Innovation Ecosystem consists of Industry Members (corporate entities whose vision and goals to revolutionize dexterous robotics align with our own) and Center Partners (non-profits, government organizations, and other stakeholders with an interest in the development of robotic dexterity).

We are engaging a broad range of ecosystem partners, including large and small companies, SMEs, national labs, and educational, civic, and advocacy organizations, through advisory boards, roadmaps, projects with the application testbeds, commercialization, internships, standardization activities, and social, legal, and industrial studies leading to public policy.

Our Industry Members pay membership dues and receive benefits from their membership, including a seat on our Industry Advisory Board, IP rights, a vote on project proposals prioritization, invitations to special HAND events, access to student talent, and updates on our research, among many other benefits.  Membership dues are based on company size and benefits desired, with membership tiers ranging from Platinum Tier 1 for large multinational companies to Bronze Tier 4 for small companies and startups.  Refer to the HAND Membership Agreement for more details.

Our Center Partners have access to our facilities and newsletter and often collaborate with us in research activities, student hiring, and participating in panels and seminars. Together, our Industry Members and Center Partners span the field of dexterous robotics and are key collaborators in helping HAND achieve its mission.
